Real Estate Professional
I am a Real Estate Professional with TEAM REA-Properties, Keller Williams Pasadena located at 251 S. Lake Ave., Suite 150, Pasadena, CA 91101. Before joining TEAM REA I was affiliated with Keller Williams in Beverly Hills for over 2 years, and the year prior to moving to Beverly Hills I was affiliated at the Keller Williams Luxury Homes office in Palm Springs, CA. Prior to joining Keller Williams I was the Director of Development, Riverside County, for Planned Parenthood of the Pacific Southwest, the Development Director, at Cove Communities Senior Center in Palm Desert, and prior to that I was the Director of Development, at Guide Dogs of the Desert. I have a strong business and finance background working for many years as a commercial and residential lender for both large national banks, and local community banks. Since moving to Palm Springs in 2006, I have been actively involved with the local communities in the Coachella Valley, providing me with a unique perspective. In 2008 I served on the steering committee, which established the Pinnacle Fund, for the Palm Springs Unified School District. In 2009 I was elected to be the Chair of the Palm Springs Neighborhood Involvement Committee, working to expand the number of residents in organized neighborhoods, from 24 to 33. As the Chair of PSNIC I facilitated monthly meeting with representatives from the organized neighborhoods. As the Chair of PSNIC I encouraged the neighborhood representatives to host a Town Hall Forum to openly discuss the proposed Palm Springs Jail, eventually persuading County Supervisors to reconsider the location of the jail. In addition, in 2011 I worked to facilitate and encouraged PSNIC to host the largest candidates forum providing the residents of Palm Springs with pertinent information and educating residents so tthey could make an informed decision when voting to elect the Palm Springs City Council members and the Mayor. I am the only Chair of PSNIC who served three consecutive years. Also, in 2009 I began a four year term as a member of the Palm Springs Unified School District's Citizens Oversight Committee, monitoring and reviewing the expenditures for the multi-million dollar voter approved school Bond Measures T & E. During my term on the Oversight Committee I served as Secretary, Vice-President, and President. I am currently serving as a Commissioner on the Citizens Oversight Committee for the voter approved Measure J initiative, for the city of Palm Springs. In 2000 I obtained my California Sate Real Estate license and have been licensed for 14 years. I am an active member of the Association of Fundraising Professionals, and a graduate of San Francisco State University, with a Bachelor of Arts degree Business Communications.
